Our client is a SaaS POS provider serving restaurants and amusement parks, including restaurants operating inside the parks. The product covered slot-based table bookings, park ticket sales, menu ordering and kitchen operations across several channels. When the client came to ThemeMakker, the product was unfinished and could not go live.
A two-person ThemeMakker team took over the product, diagnosed its failures by root-cause analysis rather than patching symptoms, restructured the system, and completed the missing pieces. The full platform was built on Laravel as a responsive web application, so the POS, kiosk and KDS screens run on any device size.
We fixed the POS booking, kiosk booking and web widget flows. Guests and venues can book slots through any of the three channels: online through a widget that the venue embeds in its own website as an iFrame, at a self-service kiosk, or through a POS operator.
We added order management and a working KDS. Orders placed through the POS or kiosk, from menus generated by the product management system, now flow to the kitchen screens in one connected process.
Guests can pay at the kiosk or through a POS operator using integrated online payment terminals. Receipt printers are connected to the system through port-based communication, so receipts print as part of the transaction.
Product management and floor map management were already functional. We added new configurations and improved them to the client's requirements, including item availability driven by inventory, so menus only offer what can actually be served.
Every component of the system, from booking slots and menus to devices and floor maps, can be configured and managed from a central admin panel.
The platform has been live for two years.
The system has worked flawlessly since Chintan and his team came into the picture. They fixed every issue by finding its root cause, restructured the entire system and helped us go live with our MVP in six months, which we thought was impossible before meeting them.”
Unfinished products rarely fail because a feature is missing. They fail because the parts don't work together. By fixing the root causes, restructuring the system and completing the hardware and kitchen integrations, ThemeMakker turned a stalled codebase into a live SaaS product that has served restaurants and amusement parks for two years.
